Texas Roadhouse Southern Whiskey Long Island Iced Tea Recipe
Southern Whiskey Long Island Iced Tea is a twist on the classic cocktail using Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam, and Southern Comfort whiskeys along with sweet and sour mix and cola.
Ingredients
- 3⁄4 oz Jack Daniel’s whiskey
- 3⁄4 oz Jim Beam bourbon
- 3⁄4 oz Southern Comfort liqueur
- 1 oz sweet and sour mix
- Splash of Coca-Cola
- Ice
- Lemon
Instructions
- Fill a tall highball glass to the top with ice cubes. That will keep the cocktail chilled.
- Pour the bourbons (Jack Daniel’s and Jim Beam) and Southern Comfort over the ice. I used 3⁄4 oz of each.
- Add 1 oz of high-quality sweet and sour mix. The tangy citrus flavor balances the spirits.
- Splash in an ounce or two of Coca-Cola. It will add bubbly sweetness and give the drink its name.
- Gently stir everything together using a long spoon or straw. Be careful not to bruise the liquor.
- Garnish your masterpiece with a lemon slice along the glass rim. This adds a pop of color and a zesty finishing touch.
